feral cows

In my town there are feral cows that roam the streets. It's not unusual to stop your car while you wait for the cows to make their way wherever they're going.

By the 1970's, Hong Kong's agricultural industry had declined so much that local farmers abandoned their cattle. Since then, the cows have made their home on the side of the road and in random nooks. They've found a way to co-exist with the humans zipping around them.

One day, we were waiting for the cows to move up the road before we could turn into our driveway. Suddenly, one of the big bulls mounted one of the females. My boys were fascinated and very much impressed. They immediately dubbed the bull "Big Blacky" - big referring not just to his large stature.

Talk about a perfect opportunity to answer more questions about sex.
